摘要
A novel mechanism of the exciton transport along the growth axis of superlattices and multiple quantum wells structure due to resonant dipole-dipole transition is proposed. The mechanism dominates when the barriers are thick and the carrier tunneling is negligible. The exciton diffusion coefficient caused by this transitions is obtained. We show that it decreases as a power, but not as an exponential function of barrier thicknesses, even at the sufficiently thick barriers.
