SINGULAR FORWARD SCATTERING IN THE 2D HUBBARD-MODEL AND A RENORMALIZED BETHE ANSATZ GROUND-STATE

In a recent Letter we argued that the existence of an upper Hubbard band necessarily would lead to Luttinger liquid (Z=0) properties for a strongly interacting electron gas, as opposed to Fermi liquid. In this paper we identify the singular-scattering diagrams and make a hypothesis about the form of the ground state of the 2D Hubbard model. © 1990 The American Physical Society.
