摘要
ALOW-power laboratory model arcjet thruster has been developed as the basis for a satellite flight propulsion system.1‘2 Operating on hydrazine propellant at a power level of 1.2 kW, the arcjet thruster has demonstrated a specific impulse of 500 s, a thrust efficiency of 35%, and 1000 h lifetime which simulates 10 yr of satellite life. © 1992 American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Inc., All rights reserved.
