A D-Q MODEL FOR THE SELF-COMMUTATED SYNCHRONOUS MACHINE CONSIDERING THE EFFECTS OF MAGNETIC SATURATION

摘要
In the present paper a complete model of the self-commutated synchronous machine is presented, considering the variable saturation effects in the machine. Firstly, equations for the saturated machine are developed. Then the "thyristor inverter-electric machine" set is modelled to derive all the equations for both, conduction and commutation. Computer simulation of the model from these equations is with experimental results when variable saturation is taken into account and when it is neglected. The results, particulary in the first case, are in very good agreement.
