N-BROMOSUCCINIMIDE AS A DIRECT TITRANT FOR THIOUREA AND THIOACETAMIDE USING BORDEAUX RED AS AN INDICATOR

摘要：

A rapid, precise, and accurate method for the determination of small amounts of thiourea and thioacetamide is described. Bordeaux red was a suitable indicator when N-bromosuccinimide was used as direct titrant. From 5-0.3 mg of thiourea and thioacetamide were analyzed with an average standard deviation of about 0.005 mg. © 1969.
