INTERCALATION OF N-ALKYLAMINES AND N-ALKYLDIAMINES INTO HTAWO6H2O

摘要
Intercalation compounds of n-alkylamines and n-alkyldiamines were prepared from HTaWO6·nH2O by direct reactions with the organic molecules. Their basal spacings depended on the size of the molecules as well as amount of water in the interlayer spaces. The basal spacing of alkylamines and alkyldiamines showed a linear relationship with number of carbon atoms in the alkyl chains, but the conformation of molecules in the interlayer spaces was different between alkylamines and alkyldiamines. When alkyldiamines are short, water molecules influenced very much the basal spacings. © 1990.
