BETA DECAY ANISOTROPY AND NUCLEAR MAGNETIC RESONANCE OF 14-S 116IN PRODUCED BY CAPTURE OF POLARIZED NEUTRONS

摘要
Polarized 116In nuclei have been produced by capture of polarized thermal neutrons. The nuclear polarization was monitored by measuring the β anisotropy of the decay of the 116In ground state. Nuclear magnetic resonance was observed in polycrystalline InP, InAs, and InSb with the result for the magnetic moment μI(116In) = 2.7723(10) nm (uncorrected). © 1969.
