摘要
Surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) spectra of roughened silver electrodes immersed in indole solution have been examined over a wide potential range. The spectra were interpreted in terms of a parallel surface orientation of the adsorbed indole molecules. It is shown that the products of indole oligomerization are formed on the electrode surface at its stationary potential. The spectroscopic results are confirmed by voltammetric measurements.
