TRANSIENT FREE-CONVECTION FLOW WITH TEMPERATURE-DEPENDENT VISCOSITY IN A FLUID SATURATED POROUS-MEDIUM

摘要
The effect of temperature dependent viscosity on the heat transfer rate for a transient free convection flow along a non-isothermal vertical surface is studied employing Karman-Pohlhausen integral method. It is observed that a decrease in viscosity increases the heat transfer rate and reduces the time to reach steady state.
