摘要:
The effects of ionic strength on the adsorption of cobalt and nickel ions by swollen chitosan beads were studied. The ionic strength was adjusted by adding potassium sulfate or potassium chloride to the solution. The removal efficiency was increased with the increase of ionic strength, regardless of the kind of added salt. It was shown that sulfate ion has an unique function to stimulate heavy metal adsorption onto swollen chitosan beads.
