TIME-DEPENDENT HARTREE-FOCK STUDY OF THE O-16+O-16 REACTION AT ELAB = 64 AND 80 MEV

摘要
We show that for the head-on 16O + 16O collision at Elab= 64 MeV, the axially symmetric time-dependent Hartree-Fock (TDHF) calculations with an effective Hamiltonian with the effective mass m*(r) ≠ m, lead to a fusion event in disagreement with the previous TDHF results with a simplified force (m*(r) = m). Calculations at Elab = 80 MeV correspond to a deep-inelastic process with negligibly small energy stored in the collective modes. An estimate of charge and mass dispersion is presented. © 1979.
