摘要
The aim of this investigation was to see if a change in crop color as a result of nitrogen stress could be assessed quantitatively in terms of leaf chlorophyll concentrations using crop reflectance measurements. The application of nitrogen to small plots of barley increased leaf chlorophyll concentrations and produced darker green canopies. Leaf pigment concentrations were estimated independently of crop biomass using a band-pass radiometer to view the canopy at an oblique angle to minimize the influence of the soil background.
