摘要：

The method described by Jenkins, Wilkens and Katerbau (1976) for the direct observation of displacement cascades in ordered alloys is used to extend the results of Jenkins and Wilkens (1976) on Cu+−ion bombardment of Cu3Au to the energy range 100–200 keV. The trend noted by Jenkins and Wilkens for the sizes of the cascades at incident ion energies E ⩾ 50 keV to be below the theoretical curve is confirmed. The directions along which extrusions and sub–cascades lay were studied, but no crystallographic relationship was found. Results are interpreted qualitatively in terms of disordering occurring in regions of high deposited energy density. © 1979 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
