FAST UV-LUMINESCENCE IN CESIUM IODIDE AT HIGH-TEMPERATURES

摘要
Fast UV-luminescence in CsI has been studied by nano- and subnanosecond time resolved spectroscopy. Experimental data support the conclusion that the high temperature (150-500 K) fast UV luminescence arises from the trapping of free exciton in sites perturbed by lattice defects.
