摘要
The dispersion produced by a combination of mass movement and molecular diffusion in a cylindrical tube can be represented by IMG1 for which Sir Geoffrey Taylor has given solutions. Taylor's work has been extended by computing numerical solutions over a wide range of flow conditions. These have been studied experimentally by monitoring the dispersion of tracer amounts of iodide ion (131I) in 2N KCl.
