摘要
The discharge physics and plasma chemistry of dielectric barrier discharges (silent discharges) is discussed. Numerical models describing electrical breakdown, microdischarge formation and the ensuing free radical chemistry are presented. Applications ranging from ozone generation, excimer UV lamps and CO2 lasers to surface treatment and pollution control are described. Experimental and modelling results on CO2 hydrogenation in dielectric barrier discharges are also presented.
