摘要
The antibiotic streptimidone is formed biogenetically from seven malonate units. One of them undergoes double decarboxylation, another one is incorporated intact. Both methyl groups are of methionine origin. Degradation procedures using14C-labelled substrates are described. © 1969 Institute of Microbiology, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic.
