ACCELERATION-WAVES IN ELASTIC-PLASTIC POROUS-MEDIA - INTERLACING AND SEPARATION PROPERTIES

摘要
For a porous medium with an elastic-plastic solid skeleton that obeys an associative plastic flow rule, the squares of the elastic an plastic acceleration wave-speeds are shown to interlace. Moreover when they are real, the wave-speeds of the underlying drained solid are proved to separate the wave-speeds of the porous medium.
