摘要
Second-order rate constants for the reaction between bromopentamminecobalt (III) and hydroxide ions were measured spectrophotometrically at low ionic strengths in the temperature range 2·8-20°. The variation of rate constants with ionic strength follows the predictions of the Brönsted-Bjerrum theory. At zero ionic strength the variation of the rate constant with respect to temperature is reproduced by the equation k20 = 1·596 × 1021exp(-27,620 ± 187/RT) 1.m-1sec-1. © 1969.
