Annealing of Fe73.5Cu1Nb3Si13.5B9 amorphous ribbons at 510-550-degrees-C has been performed to produce a homogeneous ultrafine crystalline structure of alpha-FeSi with an average grain diameter of about 20 nm, which was checked by X-ray diffraction, phase analysis and transmission electron microscopy. The temperature measurements of magnetic induction and magnetic after-effect (disaccommodation of initial permeability) have revealed the magnetic transition near 320-degrees-C.
