SMALL-SIGNAL AMPLIFICATION AND CLASSICAL SQUEEZING NEAR PERIOD-DOUBLING BIFURCATIONS IN A MODULATED CO2-LASER

摘要
The laser response to delta-functional cavity losses perturbations near a period-doubling instability is investigated theotetically and experimentally. The effects of small pulsed signal amplification and classical squeezing have been demonstrated in a driven CO2 laser. These effects can be used for an enhancement of the sensitivity of intracavity measurements.
