摘要
The linear stability of boiling flow in heated parallel channels is considered. A nondimensional lumped parameter model is derived from the Conservation equations of homogeneous two-phase flow. The marginal stability surfaces are constructed in a systematic way using the D-partition method. It is found that frictional and gravitational erects can lead to islands of instability within the stable region, which can produce higher order instabilities. Moreover, the model yields a unified treatment of Ledinegg and density-wave instability modes.
