摘要
The performance of an ED basic unit is analyzed on the basis of irreversible thermodynamics. The influence of the thickness of polarization layers, the distance between membranes, the concentration of diluate, and the current density as well as the transport coefficients of membranes on the current efficiency, CE, and the efficiency of energy conversion, eta, is shown.
