摘要
Isophthaloyl and terephthaloyl chlorides can react with half an equivalent of bis-trimethylsilyl acetylene (BTMSA) to afford 3- and 4-ethynyl substituted benzoyl chlorides, key intermediates in the synthesis of various mono- and di-ethynyl oligomers.
