摘要
Absolute intensities of four dominant emission bands of COF2 at 2·67 μ, 3·55 μ, 4·48 μ and 5·35 μ have been measured with a high speed scanning spectrometer, using reflected shock heated samples of COF2 in excess argon. Spectra were obtained with COF2 concentrations between 1(1017) and 7(1017) molecules per cm3 over the temperature range from 1300°K to 2400°K at total pressures between 3 and 10 atm. Peak intensities at the three lowest wavelengths were observed to be less than 0·05 blackbody intensity and that at 5·35 μ was below 0·2 blackbody. Integrated band intensities of room temperature and shock temperature spectra are compared with the theoretical temperature dependence expected for these vibrational bands. © 1969.
