ELECTRICAL-CONDUCTIVITY OF IODINE DOPED POLY(BUTADIENE-CO-2-VINYL PYRIDINE) DIBLOCK COPOLYMERS

摘要
Well defined AB poly(butadiene-co-2-vinyl pyridine) block copolymers with various compositions were prepared by anionic polymerization. The morphologies of solution-cast films of these diblock copolymers were investigated with electron microscopy. Semiconducting materials with conductivities as high as 10-3 Scm-1 were obtained upon exposure of films of these block copolymers to iodine vapour. A specimen with lamellar morphology was subjected to solid state co-extrusion at 150°; good orientation of lamellae was achieved, but this sample, upon exposure to iodine vapour, did not show electrical anisotropy. © 1990.
