摘要
Dimensional analysis, similarity theory and scale-up theory, as applicable to non-Newtonian fluids, are critically reviewed. It is concluded that, in most cases, a non-trivial scaling theory is impossible. A suggestion is made concerning the possibility of a non-trivial scaling theory based on the time-temperature superposition principle. © 1979.
