摘要
A Markov Chain model of land use zoning is estimated with data from suburban Chicago for 1961-1981. The land use categories are residential, non-residential, and a mix of the two. Predictions are made of the equilibrium zoning of representative tracts. The Markov Chain model is used to correct for selectivity bias in a residential land value function; significant bias is indicated. © 1991.
