摘要
Trigonal crystals of photosynthetic reaction centres from the wild-type purple bacterium, Rhodobacter sphaeroides (ATCC 17023), have been grown from potassium phosphate solutions at 18°C. They belong to the space group P3(1/2)21 and have unit cell dimensions of a = b = 141.4 Å and c = 187.2 Å. The crystals diffract to at least 2.65 Å resolution and are suitable for detailed structural studies. © Academic Press Limited.
