摘要
The classification of galaxies by morphological type is an important problem of astrophysics. In this paper we propose a new methodology for automating this problem. We present a dynamic network which merges three separate technologies: statistical model fitting, from astronomy; syntactic descriptors, from pattern recognition; and synthetic human judgment, from descriptive psychology. © 1990.
