摘要
3β-Hydroxy-5β-(11,12-3H2)-cholest-7-en-6 -one (15) is incorporated into 20-hydroxyecdysone in Calliphora stygia to the extent of only 0.003% and thus 3β-hydroxy-5β-cholest-7-en-6-one (2) may not be a major precursor of ecdysteroids in this species. The higher incorporation of 3β-hydroxy-5β-(3α-3H)-cholest-7-en-6-one (1) found earlier, appears to be due to compartmentalized transfer of tritium to 3-ketosteroid precursors of 20-hydroxyecdysone. 5β-(11,12-3H2)-Cholest-7-en-3β-ol (13) and 5β(11,12-3H2)-Cholest-8(14)-en-3β-ol (17) are also not incorporated to a significant extent. © 1979.
