摘要
In this paper a Marxist conception of the uneven development of capitalist states is proposed. This theoretical approach to explaining the emergence of specific forms of the state is illustrated through an analysis of transformations in Canada's assisted housing programmes. It is argued that changing conditions of accumulation, consumption, and state development combined with political struggles over state intervention to shape these programmes in the postwar era. -Author
