摘要：

Eddy correlation measurements of evaporation are reported for a large freshwater lake, Lake Toba, in Indonesia. Measured hourly values of bulk transfer coefficient, Bowen ratio and heat fluxes are presented, and are compared with data from lakes at higher latitudes. A method is described whereby the measurements are used in conjunction with data from land-based meteorological stations to calibrate methods for estimating the long-term historical evaporation from the lake.
