ANALYTICAL BOUND EIGENSTATES AND EIGENVALUES OF A TRUNCATED COULOMB POTENTIAL

摘要
We obtain exact eigenfunctions and eigenvalues of the Schrodinger equation with the potential V(r) = -Ze2/(r + beta), beta > 0, for particular values of the cut-off parameter-beta. Each eigenfunction is a finite polynomial times an exponential and the eigenvalues are exactly those for the pure Coulomb problem (i.e. beta = 0).
