摘要
The solubilities of carbamazepine, dexamethasone, and griseofulvin in aqueous media were synergistically increased with increasing hydroxypropylcyclodextrin concentration and with increasing temperature. The results suggest that the increase in free drug concentration from solution heating counterbalances the simultaneously occurring dissociation of the drug-hydroxypropylcyclodextrin complexes. From a practical point of view, the results show that heating or heat-sterilization may be useful steps in the preparation of hydroxvpropylcyclodextrin-based pharmaceutical formulations.
