摘要
We present a detailed numerical calculation of mirror thermal noise in interferometric gravitational wave detectors. We take into account the coupling of the laser beam with the surface and the density of acoustical energy. We have developed a numerical tool, the ''cypres'' code. The size of the mirrors and laser beam can be optimized. Finally the detection threshold of such interferometers due to mirror thermal noise can be evaluated.
