摘要
A new antimicrobial compound was isolated from Scorodocarpus borneensis Becc. The chemical structure was determined to be methylthiomethyl (methylsulfonyl)methyl disulfide on the basis of its spectroscopic data. This compound exhibited considerably strong antimicrobial activities against all bacteria and fungi tested, except for Pseudomonas aeruginosa, with 12.5-25 mu g/ml of MIC.
