摘要
Elastic and thermoelastic constants of LiH and LiD are measured with the improved Schaefer-Bergmann method. LiD shows higher elastic constants (ca. 1.5°/o) than LiH with a stronger temperature dependence (ca. 10%). Concerning the elastic anisotropy and the temperature dependence of the elastic constants both crystals behave like LiF. The extreme negative deviation from the Cauchy relation indicates the existence of strong covalent-binding components in LiH and LiD. © 1969, Walter de Gruyter. All rights reserved.
