摘要：
The SAMPEX Data Processing Unit provides overall control of the scientific payload while acquiring, combining, and compressing science data to produce the science telemetry for the mission. Section I of this paper describes data manipulation techniques employed to intelligently use the on-board recorder storage. Some key features of the Data Processor design are given in Section II.
