ALLOY ANALOG APPROXIMATION FOR THE PERIODIC ANDERSON MODEL

摘要
The periodic Anderson model is studied within the frame of the CPA alloy analog treatment which yields exact results in the limits of vanishing Coulomb repulsion and hybridization, respectively. When applied to intermediate valence compounds the model describes essential features of these systems. In particular for realistic model parameters the results for the magnetic susceptibility and specific heat are in good agreement with experimental data. © 1979.
