摘要
The behaviour upon compression of fluorite, CaF2, has been determined to pressures of 9 GPa at room temperature by single-crystal x-ray diffraction. The room temperature isothermal bulk modulus, K(T), is 81.0 +/- 1.2 GPa, and K' = 5.22 +/- 0.35. These data are combined with other thermodynamic data to provide a high-pressure, high-temperature equation of state for fluorite.
