摘要
The optimisation -of flotation column operation relies mostly on the identification of the key variables to be controlled, how accurately they can be measured and how coordinately they can be dynamically influenced. Even though substantial efforts have been made during the last years, there is still a lack of process knowledge, which partially inhibits further improvement. In this work some advances in solving measurement problems of operating variables, in obtaining and using multivariable dynamic models, and the experience of testing different control strategies and control algorithms on flotation columns, are discussed.
