STRUCTURE FACTOR OF AMORPHOUS-GERMANIUM BY QUANTITATIVE ELECTRON-DIFFRACTION

摘要
The structure factor of amorphous germanium has been determined using 120 kV electrons, an Omega-filter for the elimination of inelastically scattered electrons and a correction procedure for multiple scattering. The structure factor thus obtained is in good agreement with that obtained with X-rays and neutrons. This agreement in the monoatomic case is necessary for performing a three beam experiment to evaluate the three partial structure factors of a binary specimen.
