摘要
A mastocytoma of Furth was grown in culture and the clones isolated and grown. The cells form histamine and 5-hydroxytryptamine from the precursor amino acids. The cells take up preformed histamine and 5-hydroxytryptamine. Neither amine is catabolized by the cells. The steady-state levels of the amines in the cells fluctuate with time. The observations made on these cells are compared with those on other neoplastic mast cells and on normal mast cells. © 1968.
