TREATMENT OF 3-NUCLEON PROBLEM BASED ON SEPARABLE EXPANSION OF 2-PARTICLE T-MATRIX

摘要
Using the separable expansion of the two-particle t-matrix the three-body problem is considered in the case of negative total energy of the three-particle system. By expansion of the wave function for the system in terms of angular functions the Faddeev equations are reduced to an infinite set of coupled one-dimensional integral equations which may be cut off for finiterange forces. The system of three identical zero-spin particles and the three-nucleon system are considered. The triton binding energy and the neutron deuteron-scattering lengths are calculated in the case of the local Hulthén potential. © 1969.
