摘要
An extremely simple expression is obtained for the isothermal conductivity tensor for an arbitrarily oriented Fermi ellipsoid in an arbitrarily oriented magnetic field. The relationship between a simple kinetic equation and a vector form of the Boltzmann equation is demonstrated, and this relationship is used to show how to include the relaxation time as a tensor quantity. One again obtains a simple result which possesses the general characteristics shown to be required by other workers dealing in a different approximation. © 1969 The American Physical Society.
