摘要
While crystalline MnSi is a ferromagnet with a 30 K Curie temperature, amorphous MnSi exhibits a spin-glass transition at 22 ± 2 K. The susceptibility and the susceptibility peak of the fully amorphous films increase with increasing deposition temperature. This effect can be understood in terms of amorphous Mn atoms clusters and can be separated from the true spin-glass behavior. The spin-glass order parameter is extracted from the susceptibility cusp using the Sherrington-Kirkpatrick model and reveals deviations from mean-field theory. © 1979.
