摘要
Asymmetric apodization is suggested to achieve low side lobes and a steep principal maximum simultaneously. Optimal asymmetric apodization functions (aperture function) in both the one-dimensional case (slit aperture) and the two-dimensional case (circular aperture) are designed and the corresponding point spread functions calculated.
