摘要
1. 1. The incorporation of [14C]glycerol 3-phosphate and [3H]palmitate into different classes of lipids from lung tissue and surfactant was studied by perfusing dog heart-lung preparations after the onset of various shock syndromes. 2. 2. Patterns of isotope incorporation into free fatty acids, phosphatidylcholine and phosphatidylethanolamine of lung tissue and surfactant from animals under hypovolemic shock did not show any significant alteration. 3. 3. However, septic shock syndrome was able to influence largely the biosynthesis of phosphatidylethanolamine and, particularly, of phosphatidycholine. The relative contribution of different pathways of biosynthesis of lecithins showed by the control lung tissue was distorted in the septic lung. 4. 4. This fact influences the presence and the function of lecithins in the pulmonary surfactant under endotoxic shock. © 1979.
