摘要
The parametric representation of turbulence by a coefficient of eddy viscosity is discussed for the tidal flow in a river estuary. If the eddy viscosity attains a specified maximum value in the mid‐depths, it is shown that the amplitude of the tidal current has a logarithmic profile throughout the depth.
